Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
Yes they are small holes. I kind of figured, but the only evidence I seen was the holes. No foot prints in the snow, or tunnels. Odd...

Thank you for the dog friendly approach. I will try that!

This reminded me to buy some Balan and put it down. I hate mowing weeds. If I can kill them I don't have to mow until mid May.

If they are voles/moles... cats work wonders! Our neighbors have outdoor cats and now mice, rats, moles, voles are no longer a problem!

Yeah, when we first got Smokey he was killing machine; 2-3 rodents a day for the entire first summer he was here. Since then it's only been 1-2 a week, and he doesn't spend any less time hunting.

We are getting the house ready to sell. I hope we are in a new one in time to get a garden going this year.

It's about 30x50 sq. ft... but under about a foot of snow at the moment.

The citrus are ripe for the picking.

Moro Blood Orange. I love to put a slice of this in my ice tea each morning.
It adds a unique taste that a normal orange doesn't have.

Improved Meyer Lemon. Large and not as acidic as a regular lemon.
My wife cuts these up and puts it in her water container every day until they are gone.

Calimanci Seedless and Calamandin with seeds.
Asian citrus. Very strong for their size. Actually tastes better than lemonade when sweetened.

Nice to see the garden thread get going for another season. Got a new watering scheme going and adjusting the timing. Will be planting in 3-4 weeks. Also had my redwoods thinned out .

Got my peppers started a couple days ago. Potatoes will hopefully get in the ground in a couple more weeks if it ever stops raining.
