    @Pablo8

I’ve been thinking about this a lot. Based on the size hole you described here is my list. Can you set up a trail camera?
    • Rabbit
    • Groundhog marmot
    • Loose domestic tortoise
    • Mountain beaver
    • Fox
    • Domestic dog or Cat
    • Raccoon looking for grubs

Same here. I like sweet corn.

Can you use the un-ripe corn and make pop corn? I know nothing about the making of popcorn. I know it taste good once popped. With butter it will taste better.

Does sitting the corn in water remove the starchy?

I figure so. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Our produce in the stores already took a dive from the cold. Kind of early.

Killed water to mine back in early October. Went out last and this weekend and my jalapeño plant is still going strong. Picked about 20 peppers off it and more still growing.

neighbors are really liking me this year since we are getting way more than we can use on all produce haha

Temp dropping below freezing tonight. Mad dash at 10pm to bring in plants tonight that we have not planted yet. Garage is full! 6 blueberries, 4 camilias, 4 elephant ears, 3 aronias, an orange rocket barberry, and a couple of purple loropetalums.

    Busy next few weekends.

Need to get a couple of plums, to replace the ones that boreres killed, need 2 more Japanese maples too. Maybe another purple leaf crape murtle tree, if I can find one on sale.
Garlic bulbs are coming this week for fall planting and to keep the borers away from the new plums.

If I can burn one of the many burn piles in the back half of the property, a bald cyprus will go into that spot. They are on sale now.

I'd like to do something like this with an exhaust fan and thermostat. Probably not too many hot/humid days in the PNW though.

This is what I did as well, and the peppers still hung on, which I don't get it since we're in a somewhat moderate drought. Picked habaneros, jalapenos, and cherry peppers on Friday, just enough to pickle and make some extra habanero jam for gifting.
