That's so cool! I love walking through nurseries with lots of tall trees. It's very calming/cathartic. I need some tropical acreage. :)

    Mornin TW Gardeners,

Got up at 2:30am, couldnt sleep. So I cleaned and detailed my Gaggia coffee machine.

Yesterday I roasted some harvested beans from a few weeks ago. I roasted them yesterday in our Instant Vortex Plus Air Fryer on the "Roast" setting @ 300 degrees for 2hrs.

First, after harvesting them from the plant, i Deseeded the bean from the red-shell, then deslimed the white bean in water for 24hrs, then air dried them for 2 days in the sun. Then came the roasting.

So, by 5:30am i had my first decent homegrown expresso coffee, i'm happy about the result.
The bean is just an Arabica Red bean, no added flavor. I could get used to it, not the Hazelnut flavored bean we've been drinking for 7 years daily, but tasty just as it is, nothing special. But, nothin like the feeling of "growin your own".

Also the transplanted raspberries are starting to get new growth at the base so many will hopefully make it! I cut back the dead stuff

If you end up with too many tomatoes,

    DRY THEM!

Slice about 3/8" thick and sprinkled generously with "Everything but the bagel" seasoning. Dried until crisp. For me, a new found treat! (Great with beer!)
Cherry tomatoes dry well also. Just cut in half. a little salt.
Dumped into a creamy dressing, they make a great chip dip! Add to soup, into roll ups, Very handy "tomato Chips!

Thats good to see, come Springtime it should really get growing! Been doing my best to repair all the berry plants from the storm, the wind was so strong it even managed to bend metal supports over that they were tied off on.

Today was cleaning up the berry patch from the storm damage and noticed something strange. All of the black raspberries are suddenly full of buds and sprouting new leaves, we will probably have frost in a few weeks so all that will die.
