    @Toyko Joe and @MGMDesertTaco thank you for the fast response,,,,happy to hear they are Aphids,,,they I can deal with. I cut the leaves off and threw them away. Thank you for your time and help, its appreciated,

    I have better luck with neem oil concentrate than the ready mixed versions. Southern AG or Captain Jacks from Home Depot both work well.

    I got them on Amazon, they are very stout, when the mole pushes the ground up it slams closed.

    we’ve been using this mesh to keep the birds out of our berries. Timing is key! They will eat the berries green but if we put it on early we have to let the hummingbirds out of it….

    I'm jealous of your zucchini, mine shot up and have stalled; flowers for weeks, nothing. Cherry tomatoes and cucumbers are doing ok but not well, have a few cantaloupe and watermelon. Pumpkin nearly all dead, first crop. I usually use worm castings but this year tried cow manure instead. Soil PH is closer to acidic but should be within tolerance. I think due to the dry weather we've had on the panhandle this year, this past week has been nice.
