    It’s a friend of a friend making it. I think there’s a mother culture instead of yeast so fermentation is involved similar to wine but less alcohol if any.

    We are on year 4 of this vine and last year we had probably 5 lbs total.

    So nice seeing a glimpse of that time, 50 yrs ago. Looks healthy. Our Mom gave us dreaded chores of weeding the garden, now weeding is instincual and habitual at times.

    I think that is a "Queen of The Night" cactus, The Mrs has a couple here. Beautiful bloom. We've had a really good year from our Dragon Fruit cactus this year, we have 7 trellis around the property, some full sun and some partial shade. This is Halley's Comet dragon fruit bloom, in 5 week's and we harvest em.
