Little whores, like it rough. haha

Yeah that's what I meant when I said enough space, I should've thought more of my wording before posting. By adding if they're crammed together with other chickens they need more space or they'll start that.
And yeah it looked like they had enough space in yours, but was thinking maybe who you got it from didn't have them in a good pen. It does look funny now, any bird without feathers looks ridiculous.

How long are you watering for?
Either cut back on the time you run the hose for, or maybe switch to watering every other day. Keep a close eye on your plants to make sure you're not underwatering, obviously.
During the summer here when it's in the 70's and 80's I usually water every other day or every couple of days, depending on how the plants look, but my climate tends more towards "hot and humid" rather than "hot and dry." Not sure what the summers there are like.

Started a couple of years ago with one Tomato plant then last year along with a Tomato I added a couple of Bell Peppers, Basil, Cilantro, & German Thyme. I messed up with the Cilantro as it's a cool whether plant and by mid June it was dead... live and learn.

So this year I have a Tomato, Bell Pepper, Mexibelle, Cubanelle, Thyme, and some Chives.

So maybe drop back to a 1/2 hour instead? Although the mister may cut down on how much water you're putting into the beds.

I'm assuming those are hot peppers? They sound like it.

Never had them before so we'll see... according to the Scoville Scale they're supposed to be a mild pepper.

I've plumbed my garden this year with drip irrigation for the first time. I love it.
I plumbed a loop and cut in tees and tied them in down the rows. Theres no dead legs anywhere. No problem with flow I also used adjustable drippers so I can clean them.
Ill have to get some pics.
Ive planted 24 tomatoes squash cantelope black diamond watermelon and seeded some lettuce and spinach.

There's only one new picture I've got so far.
I was planting some stuff last night and there was a robin freaking out at me. I knew where her nest was because they used the same one last year, so I snapped a picture inside and saw:

It certainly explains why she was freaking out.

X2. As long as you put drain ports in so the plants don't drown in a heavy rain, Buckets work great for small-scale gardening. They're easy to move to where the sun is, easy to keep weed-free, and easy to harvest from.
