    I was too lazy to plug mine in this year. This is last year.

    Before you laugh the hydro works pretty well.

    The tomatoes, basil and mint went nuts. the strawberries did OK

    For months it was like this daily. I couldn't even give them all away I had so many.

    It uses very little water, it's easy to maintain and has very few bugs compared to planting in the dirt.

    Yeah, we're on a little bit of a different growth schedule up here, lol. I just got my squash, cukes, beets, carrots, parsnips, beans, and peas in the ground last week.

    yea I always tend to overwater things. which is why hydroponics confuses me lol. that's a lot more water than it takes to kill my plants.

    Ive been looking into it too but this is far as I got. Lots of stuff can be sourced from ebay quite reasonably. check this link out.

    sounds good. ill keep an eye out. id much rather see Styrofoam be upcycled as opposed to just thrown in the landfill to just sit there.

    yea ours add up too. and not many people recycle things. much less things that can easily just be thrown into a blue bin and put at the street.
