Good idea. I did use a funnel w/ the ammonia. It also killed my grass. The problem is there's so many holes that to keep refilling boiling water and running outside isn't safe.

I literally LOL'd. Actually a good idea. But not sure I want 25 patches of spray foam on my lawn. Doing it to at least one hole tomorrow though.

We have a lone cherry tree in the yard and would like to have cherries on it someday. But I was wondering if you had to get the same variety or do they cross pollinate with other cherry trees?

I just stumbled in here and read this whole thing about wasps and it reminded that I had a handful of yellow jacket nests to deal with in the eves. Ran out and sprayed one with the foaming stuff and a shower of at least 2 dozen of those little bastards rained down.

The only good yellow jacket is a dead yellow jacket.

It depends on the type of cherry. Most need another nearby cherry of a specific type to pollinate it. Look Here for reference.

Take note of when it blooms...i think that is the main factor in what makes pollinators work together

first spring we were in our new to us place and it froze the blossoms. next year we had blossoms but they shriveled up and didnt produce fruit same this spring. I wish I knew what kind it was to help it out. I also read that phosphorus helps produce fruit I need to fertilize it for sure.

My garden is a far cry from what it used to be. Plenty of space. Just didn't have much time and it shows.

Makes sense that way. If I'd done more than glance at it I probably would have figured that out. :anonymous:

And it doesn't help around here that it is supposed to be cooling down by now but its still going to be mid 90s today.
