For those that don't have much space these are supposed to work really good. I think I may buy one just to see. Called Garden Soxx

fertilizer sometimes is worse for garden plants. Over fertilizing will give you nice big plants but little fruit.

Yes you are right. But now that I'm older it holds about all I want to do. So it works pretty good. About the toughest thing my truck has to do is take me fishing. No off roading, rock climbing. Just fishing on dirt/mud roads, oh and snow. Great truck and a big help for the garden and supplies

Decent rainstorm here this morning. The garden totes were empty as of last night, and now they're about 3/4 full (and it's still raining)

Pardon the unkempt side yard; I haven't gotten out there to take care of the winter blowdowns yet

Hey guys i have been growing some corn in my backyard, but there are some pests and insects that are freaking eating the leafs and killing it.

What can i use to get rid of the insect problems? But the corn will still be safe to eat?

You can spray them with a pesticide safely; they spray huge tracts of land w/pesticides out west and that corn ends up used for human consumption.
Sevin is safe for small gardens; the spray would probably be better than the powder for distribution purposes.
Just wash the corn really well before you cook it.
Or you can probably find an organic remedy at the local nursury. At the very least they could probably recommend something for you to try.
