I order mine from Johnny's, because they're local to me. The way I see it is, they're right up the road from me, in an identical microclimate. So if they can grow it, I can too (or at least I should be able to, haha!)

Do you have any plans on shoring up on the sides of the greenhouse?

It be bitchin to build a rock wall in the back(photo), and perhaps only plant bushes up front on the smaller slope to combat erosion. Some railroad ties for stairs leading up to it. Cool country and good cut on the terrace. Looking good.

Shit bro, my bad for not explaining correctly. I meant the land surrounding the greenhouse. Is there danger of erosion?

    That a harbor freight kit?

Yeah, I'd brace it up for sure

For whatever reason, tw picture upload usually doesn't work for me anymore, but cucumbers, broccoli and lettuce have already sprouted! 3 days since planting, not bad.

Have them in a starter box i built and it's been 78-80 in there since they were planted. Planning on doing another two trays of stuff... This is going to become a lot of work very quickly

Oh I got ya now, yea its eroding a little bit but I need to put some grass seed down and it should take care of it. I'll have to fill it in if it starts to get too bad. theres about 2.5 feet walkway by the edge of the green house.

My garden was dry enough to till today, so I got after it. The forecast is calling for more rain and snow, so I figured I had better jump on this window of opportunity.
    IMG_2266.jpg

It would have tilled up better if it was drier. The far end was still too wet to till at all, but that's OK I got enough tilled to get the planting I wanted to do done. Planted kale, beets, carrots, lettuce, spinach, rutabagas, and fingerling potatoes. Covered them with a top dressing of compost, and called it a day.

For storage? That's a popular use for the retired buses in this area.
