07 Tacoma Access Cab 4x4 base

i am trying to buy an overhead console but i have no idea what "Gas and engine protection" is. Would it make a difference if the part had it or not? im pretty sure mine does not have it, as it is an 07 access, base edition. Would i be able to install one with or without the "protection"? thank you!

I have no idea what that is, unless they are talking about the Engine and Gas tank skid plates?
I don’t know why that would make a difference?
