    Oh thought you were talking about ford. I've seen a few get changed out but not that much more than normal filler necks, or some gas caps that leak

    The 2015 Colorado I traded in had the gas cap tether. I was not concerned with the tether but the cheap plastic gas door hinge. One of the reasons I traded her in after 6 months. :)

    Ya I use that same gas door clasp to hang my gas cap from to and the best part is toyota provided it to latch the gas cap door closed.:devil:

    I remember my first fill up with my Taco. Wondered why there wasn't anything to hold the cap, but low and behold I found that the door latch can serve a dual purpose.

    From the old days of not having all these fancy things like tethers, cap holders, and no cap filler nozzles... I just hold my locking cap in my hand. What else am I gonna do... rub one out while filling up?
