We had issues at our C-Train parking this past winter. Thieves were coming into the lots and stealing gas from the new Ford and Dodges. One guy came back after working the day and he smelled the gas before he started the truck. The police said, "it could have been a bad situation if the owner started their truck".

Haha! How did this turn into about being about Hitler?

Oh don't get all sensitive. Maybe you're going to be the only one going out there and pointing the gun at them and not shoot them. Would you go out and do it if there was more than one person and they all had guns too? In the end, it's just gas. It ain't worth someones life. If they come into your home, then I'd be shooting. Paint balls in the face!

 

We've held two thieves at gun point in our neighborhood till the cops got here. We'll one was a peeping tom, not sure if he was stealing too. They didn't come back. lol

I won't shoot to kill unless they stand their ground. XD

I won't confront them. I'll yell from the dark to get the hell away from my shit while I put two in the ground next to them. We shoot enough in our neighborhood that no one pays it attention. Cops wont come unless we call them.

 

At $65 a tank of gas, it's worth it for me to be hiding somewhere to catch him. Stand and fight.

 

And as we all know, you never bring a knife to a gun fight...you bring a bigger gun

As long as your brain is with you. But gun's aren't the answer to stolen gas. There's other things for that...

Here is an idea-leave the tank nearly EMPTY--they will not waste their time for half gal of gas. Fill it with a reserve can before you leave the house. there should be room for a can in the garage.

so, if we have a screen in the filler neck... how did they get the gas out or did OP unsubscribe already?

 

That's similar to what I do. I only keep about $10 worth of gas in my truck at a time. But, I also live in the boondocks, so it's not really an issue.
