    If you put a little vaseline on your Gasshole, it will go in easier. Or so I'm told. :anonymous:

    Hey Jay, the Stant works great, used on my sr5 and now on the pro. Must have the correct pressure.
    I like the peace of mind of a lock.

    Ill post part #, when I get back from vacation in Costa Rica. Lol.:)

    I have one also.. which works ok if you park on level ground... my driveway is a incline and every morning for 3 days it would trip a code.. and i clear it only to have it repeat for the 3 days.
    Locking gas cap prevents someone from pouring in stuff. To get it out... there are three ways..
    1 proper hose to fit down filler to get past anti siphon
    2 go around the siphon in the filler by drilling/cutting lower on the filler neck
    .... any hose will do at this point.
    3 drill a hole in the tank itself

    So unless you are worried someone is going to dump water or antifreeze or any other liquid in, no need for the locking cap... if they want your gas bad enough they are going to get it one way or another.

    That's what happened in my neighborhood, someone stole gas from my neighbor 1st gen. Then i got the locking cap.

    1st gens didnt come with the anti siphon fillers. Pretty sure that started on 2nd gen models.
