Thanks brother, that makes sense. I understood Suspension but you a lot brought more clarity on the downhill part. I do think I worn out the suspension a bit, shocks out, cause now even on speed bumps in the city, it feels rougher. Mainly on the back tires. It bouncing back down pretty rough...

What would be the parts you would check/get replaced?

I beat the shit outta my ‘21 OR and none of this has ever happened and the suspension is more than adequate.

how fast were you really going over the washboards? Trying to baja the truck over them?

Lol, that's what I'm saying bro! Something has to be wrong, I was topping 15 mph MAX but the washboards felt like I was driving literally down the mountain.

I drove 5-12 mph the whole way down. Any more than that feels like the truck would've come apart thats how much it was shaking/bouncing. Hence why the gas cover popped off

The washboard weren't even that deep

This reminds me of that OP who’s side air bags went off in the dunes. He claimed he was only going 35mph on a slight angle. Lies.

I have experience with washboards. The whole key is pick the right speed. I drive a stretch of dirt roads that has lots of washboard sections and if I hit it at the wrong speed, the truck will actually "skate" along the tops of the bumps and slide like its on ice! If I hit them too slow, it's bone jarring all the way through. Too fast, It skates. There is a "just right" speed depending on the washboards amplitude.
As far as your gas door, I think it was not closed all the way lol.

Lol, I'm dead serious. Most I went was 15 mph and that was on the way up. A lot less bumpy then the way down

If the washboard is bad, I just air down.

Air down more, like a lot.

Then get suspension that matches what you do.

For sure, and now that I realize that was a big problem.... I was aired up to 34

What do you recommend airing down to? 18-25 PSI?
