Ok, I'll start there but would probably still do the fuel pump upgrade too

I have the exact same thing happening, it’s really odd.

This symptom of gas cutting out could be caused by dirt and funk on the MAF sensor. Removing the sensor from the intake track and blowing Electronic QD cleaner sometimes helps relieve the acceleration issues.

Welp I removed the MAF to clean it, thing was impecable but I sprayed it anyways with Eletronic QD cleaner. I havent taken out the COMA yet cause well, I have a few brews running through the alcohol system. Will update later to see if that did anything.

Let's try going at this a different direction. Next time it does it, stick your foot under the brake pedal and lift up.

Low oil pressure will not cut the engine. It is just an idiot light.

Where are you in the maintenance cycles? Plugs? Anything engine related not OE?

Any Toyota TSBs for the ECU/EMU?

What gas are you giving it?

Lol, sea foam intake manifold maybe? Sea foam everything?

Any loose cables on the ignition system side? Had a 22RE stutter with new plug cables because they were a little oily new and one slid off while driving.

Looks like the integrated fuel filter on the fuel pump assembly.

The “filter” is just a sock around the pump, made of mesh. As seen in the pic above

I havent gotten around to doing plugs yet, picked her up about a month ago. Did have Toyota look her over, change the oil. it needs bearings, front discs and breaks which all are going on this weekend, then alighnment. I beleive everything is OEM. I get the loose wire thing but this here does not stutter, I just feel the gas give out so i quick let go and step again and I keep driving... I think I will be going In and changing out the fuel pump with the external filter.

Hook up a fuel pressure gauge, duct tape it to the windshield and go for a drive
