I have a 99 Tacoma PR 3RZ motor, no power options....My speedometer doesn't have the clear plastic cover because it was broke off when I got it, My friend was looking at my gauge and he said " wo thats clear " and he touched the gas gauge and it moved the needle, I just filled up before this so the needle was a little above full as it always is and now its reading 3/4 of a tank, The needle has moved plenty of times before but never offset the readings...Is there anyway to fix this?

PS : I dont have a gas light either and I'm pretty sure I have a bobber

Did you try pushing it back to where it's supposed to be?

Yes, tried that and tried holding it while cutting it on and off and while driving kept going back the the 3/4s mark
