Just filled up today, 347 miles, mostly city. I don't know why it was so high, it's usually 290-320 miles. 2011 Tacoma Pre-Runner

I don't calculate a damn thing. I log all my data with my OBD2 scanner/adapter and the Torque software.

I thought it was off and used fuelly and tired that for a month, got pretty much the same exact numbers. Really depends on how you drive it. I've been known for getting 22 while listening to CCR, and getting 17 while listening to Pantera.

^^^ that V6 6spd combo seems to have some hidden potential if you know how to drive it, even with 4WD...

but you two have the access cab and reg cab respectively
so you should be seeing higher #s - less weight

that fuelly log is impressive though

I'm averaging 19.2 miles per gallon, but have recently been getting anywhere from 20 to just over 21 miles per gallon. I'll usually fill up between 280ish and 330ish miles depending on where I am in my driving circuit and how close I am to where ever the cheapest gas usually is.

V6, double cab, 4wd, TRD Off Road. But 95+% of my driving is highway, and I usually set the cruise control at about 63 or 64. And without hauling anything.

Keep in mind that (unlike other makes...that I own at least) most Tacomas' odo's and speedo's error at about 5 percent in favor adding miles that weren't traveled. They'll read 70 if you're going about 66 or 67.

So each tank, basically deduct about a 1/2 mpg from what your mileage divided by gallons taken on calculates to and you'll get closer to the actual.

Exactly. Taller tires reduce the odo count.

My last 3 tanks avg'd 20.5, 20.5 and 20.8 mpg. I put @ 18 gal in and the range for that was right at 375. That's probably about as far as I want to push it w/o an extra 6-gal can on board.

I get around 400 to the tank. If highway, then will get more but I drive mostly short trips to work, etc., to which at about 1/2 I have gone 200 (if highway, roughly 220 by the time reach half a tank). Nothing special done to it - just stock w/ Destination A/T's. Oh, its a V6...

Wow, I am really surprised on the miles you guys get with a full tank.
This will me my 5th Fill up and I am averaging around 230 miles, if I am lucky..

Mostly city driving and never going over 2000rpm.

    Stock 2012 Tacoma v6 pre-runner TRD Sport.

if you check my fuelly you'll see that I use only 93octane.
I believe this helps somewhat - I used 87 one tank and it was my worst mpg yet (right around 300mi) so I'm sticking to 93. Its only a couple more dollars per fillup.
still hard for me to believe v6 double cabs 4x4s are getting 375-400 miles per 18gallons of gas...

FWIW, I run 87. Mostly Marathon brand as that's what's convenient. They typically post a 10E label on the pump. But my grassy knoll suspicion says that's more likely used for the premium blend to get the octane # up. My truck was used so it was broken in if that matters. Pushing close to 70k now. I've wondered if I could get more MPG by runnign higher cost prem, but my tight ass puts a death grip on my wallet. During the summer I seem to avg a solid 20.5. I'm good w/that.
