Get re-geared , add OVTune. This next one is the toughest slow down! Dont accelerate with a heavy foot from a stop! dont go over 2000RPM on the highways, yes that means slow lane no more then 60MPH ever! You will get all the MPG's back that you lost and maybe a little more! I have a lift with 34's front rear after market bumpers , steal skids all the way back including fuel tank, RTT i can get 20 MPG's driving 60MPH that way but its so hard to do it! If i go 65 it drops to 17MPG's and anything above 65 it really starts to drop a lot! No way around the the loss once you add lift and bigger tires!

I just have a 2-2-1/2” lift and 33’s. Definitely lost mpg but I knew that ahead of time. Granted I didn’t realize it would be quite as bad as it is but oh well. Reason my mpg went down so drastically is now the truck can’t maintain 6th unless on a flat highway, no headwind, and around 55-60 mph. On interstate I’m doing good to get 14 mpg at 70-80 on speedometer despite it being off a bit.

After all my suspension and tires swapped out I’m adding 4.88 gears which will help the mpg issue a bit because I’ll now be able to use 6th gear but despite that there will still be a noticeable drop in fuel economy.

Correct. All my numbers posted earlier are base on the trucks read outs! So i am actually getting better MPG's if it was broken down to proper speeds.

sadly you'd have to get rid of the lift and tires. But lets be honest, oil prices are tanking right now so for all of us driving with lifts and big tires we should be excited haha
