    On my 2021 OR Overall ave 21.2 MPG in 39 tanks. On my wife's 2019 OR Overall ave 18.7 MPG in 78 tanks. This is based on miles gone and how much to fill the tank entered in to a program that I wrote, not based on the on board computer.

    Mine is completely stock. Back and forth to work 6 miles one way in stop and go traffic I get 17-18mpg. When I go to my country house on mostly two lane mildly hilly roads doing 55-65mph I get 24-25mpg. I haven't done much 70-75mph highway driving but on the little I've done I got around 21-22mpg.

    A head wind or tail wind can make a big difference in mpg with this truck.

    Don't overlook the type of tire! I run 235/85-16's (because I need chains on the front in the winter). In the winter I run MT's, the rest of the time AT's - The difference in mileage is about 3mpg lower with the MT's. I live in the Seattle area and go up to a local mountain top (for work) at least once a week. Result - Average mileage will be in the mid-teens. Out on the road I can do about 22. But again, we have lots of ups and downs out here. My mileage would likely be fantastic in the flat-lands. - Clay

    And of course the added weight of a larger tire increases tire spin kinetic energy (harder to get a heavy tire to spin) and total vehicle weight. Both compound to reduce mileage.

    '17 DCLB SR5 w/ 265/75s w/ ~2" lift & cap and I average ~21-22 in the summer with 3/4 rural roads 1/4 highway driving. Winter I lose ~2mpg. Before the lift, bigger tires & cap I often saw 25mpg for a tank ave.

    Hmmmm......seems I've heard that suggested before. :frusty::frusty:

    To correct for your tires......it has been said. Its a simple ratio based on the circumference of the OEM tire and the larger tire. C'mon, this is basic High School math.

    So, what are you gonna do if the dealer has made the corrections based on the larger tire? :goingcrazy:

    What don't work?????

    Take it back to the dealer. Have them fix or trade for something else.

    My Father would've slapped the shit outa me for this style of nonsense and not thinking....... But he was a WWII fighter pilot raised on a small farm in the 1920-30s.

    Hossler1788 it’s not my everyday driver , it’s more of a expensive toy, I’m ok with it not getting good mileage I just want the speedo to be accurate

    Accurate????

    FWIW, the FMVSS regulations allow the speedometer to OVER report the actual speed by a %age. The Odometer is not allowed to UNDER report the mileage by a %age.

    Sorry, I don't recall the specific numbers, but to believe these indicators are dead on is myopic understanding.

    I understand, just want them to check and see if they calibrated it because right now it is under reporting
