The government already makes more than the oil companies on every gallon sold.

 

Oil is a market commodity, as is gasoline (to a lesser extent). Its price is subject to those rules, not political policy...at least in a capitalist economy.

I own a Tacoma. But I daily drive a Corolla. I imagine most of you can do the math on your own.

Politics 100% aside, Congress passes the laws, including those governing commodity future speculation. I'm glad a lot of this country is angry. I just think they need to be angry at the right people.
