Crap. Should I take one out and check the gap? The auto parts guru told me not to go with champion or Bosch. Said denso or NGK were best for Toyota. Said denso makes NGK. The ones i got are 60,000 mile iridium. Wish i had checked the gaps. Could that be causing the gas smell or is the high flow filter more likely the cause?

    have a v6?
    run oem coppers
    i4, run irid

v6 interval is 30K, and some people have had issues running irid in the naturally aspirated 1gr v6

Supposedly Toyota engines are very particular about the plugs. The basic plugs that Toyota recommends are the best. NGK and Denso are recommended, but not the iridium. The NGK plug part # is LFR6C11. If for some reason it wasn’t burning efficiently it may cause some gas smell, but I couldn’t say if that’s your problem.

Sooo should i take the iridiums out? I was told they were fine for my truck. Is there potential for damage to the engine? I was told to atleast run double platinum bc that’s what came from factory in my truck.
