I'd say you did well price-wise as long as the work is good. I try to fix anything I can, but that one I wouldn't have messed with. Mine was pretty thin and I just bit the bullet and bought the factory one.

Yea, this was one I'd rather have someone else do as well. I use the truck for work and am grateful for a quick turnaround. The shop is well known in the area and has been used in the family for many years.

The cross member I ordered was pristine and freshly painted. Come from a truck in Arizona. I bought a Denso fuel pump and Toyota OEM pre pump filter so I'm good there. I looked over his work when I stopped by and everything looks great. The front dif fluid I couldn't do myself because the bolt was not wanting to come out for me and I didn't want to strip it.

When I get the truck back Monday, I'll get some photos. Truck has 263k miles on it. Still young for a 3.4 so it doesn't bother me much to give the truck what it needs to keep going.

I would have liked to have seen him getting that thing in there. There is very little wiggle room with the frame gussets being right next to the lower feet. I'm playing with mine and finding that the new gussets I'm putting in won't allow the crossmember to go in so I have to adjust them a bit. I've clean all the old gusset structures from the rear frame and am making new, but I didn't mark exact location and sizes.

Apparently he didn't take off the bed either.
