    2005.

Had the frame replaced a few years ago, surprised a strap that was compromised would have been reused.

Truck is not abused but salt is used on the roads here. Failed due to corrosion.

Debating taking this up with the dealer/Toyota.

    Thoughts?

The dealer did everything required by the court settlement. They are not required to replace every single part that could fail years later, while being exposed to NY salt.

Your truck is over 15 years old, what do you expect them to do? They took care of the frame out of warranty. It's not a lifetime warranty.

    Thanks for the replies.

I understand it's a 15 year old truck, driven in the northeast.

I guess I'm surprised the straps were reused. The truck hasn't seen that many miles since replacement and I would have to think they weren't in that great of shape.

I had issues after the replacement that took a few trips back to the dealer to somewhat reconcile so perhaps I have some lingering dissatisfaction with the experience as a whole and I'm lumping this in with it.
