I've had this cover for a few weeks now, it only just started raining recently so I couldn't gauge its effectiveness til now.

This is after a few hours of soaking rain, plus a 30min drive to the store and back. Is this normal or do I have a defective cover?

Honestly, it only leaks a bit on the sides, and with a bed mat coming soon it really wouldn't get anything wet so I feel like I could just deal with it. It was only a $230 cover anyway... just not sure how much I should expect from it.

    Thoughts?

Can’t really comment on the gator one . I had a Tonnopro soft cover . The only spots I noticed that leaked was by the cab . Might want to check your measurements and that you didn’t over tighten the cover . The soft ones can warp easily if over tightened .it might be the seal also .

i have the gator efx hard tri fold cover that i bought 2nd hand from someone on marketplace. Waited for it to rain and mine does the same. I guess it's hard to keep all the rain out? I have drain holes in the top bed corners also.

My truxedo cover does it too. I think it's pretty normal for soft covers. I could probably seal it up but it's not bad enough for me to care, it just drips down the side and goes under my bet mat anyways.
