May have been discussed b4. Couldn't find it with a google search to see if it was even a common problem. The brightness of my gauge cluster lights are the same brightness as they are whether the headlights are on or off. All other brightnesses (i.e., head unit and climate control) dim out with the engagement of the headlights? Yes, I'm aware of the dimmer knob. No, it doesn't adjust the brightness brighter.

Is this normal and I just expect too much out of my gauge cluster? Or is there a bulb perhaps blown for full brightness? Or the dimmer dial is jacked up and doesn't brighten anymore? Any input appreciated.

i hate auto dimming of any lights. so i did the mod to the temp/compass lights, but i don’t think there’s a way to keep the odometer, etc from dimming.
