Gauge Cluster Lights

What do ya think... I've been searching around for a detailed thread about changing the gauge cluster lights to LED bulbs but haven't really found what I am looking for. There is 1 bulb out on the left side of the cluster in my '99 TRD, its been kinda bugging me for the past few years and I figured since I'm new to TacomaWorld this might be a good first thread...

Does anyone have step by step instruction on how to rip into the dash in order to get to the cluster (pictures are a plus). Is it too much of a pain in the ass for 1 bulb? Can I get replacement LED bulbs at any local auto parts store? Finally, do LED lights make a big difference?
