Don't know why you'd need to cut anything. A sub wouldn't need a grill sing it's frequencies are much lower.

No idea what the available depth would be though. Good news is that window doesn't roll down.

ive got Infinity component tweeters, Infinity 3 way 6x9s rated at 110w rms in front doors and Infinity 3 way 6x6 rated at 60w rms in rear doors hooked up to a Pioneer 600w 4 channel amp and a 10" sub hooked up to a Pioneer 350w 2 channel amp , all running off a Pioneer head unit. How do you think your system setup will compare to that setup?

I think my system sounds good, the thing i dont like about it is i cant turn the bass up loud on the speakers cause it sounds like shit, hence having the sub. Im trying to find a new speaker setup to out perform the one i have now. Is this something that you think could do that?

hahaha funny you say that cause i hate these damn tweeters, pure high treble! Would i be able to use that 600w amp on the door speakers? I can def tell a difference with and without an amp and i like the extra power

Power is good. As long as it is a full range 2 or 4(brigable) channels you should be able to run these great, and like steven, I think these will be a nice upgrade.

Yeah, whats up Steven? Any word on crossovers, or timing on making them? Need help building the crossovers?

Friday I will be doing an oil change, mowing if the grass isnt too wet, and putting in another head unit. There is something else I have to do, but I cannot remember it to save my life... Sunday I am available for a while, but then next Friday I am heading down to Corpus for the weekend...

Yeah I've been kinda short on time lately. I have the Lone Star Audio Fest in Dallas this Friday, Saturday and Sunday so it's not happenin this weekend. I still need to do more tuning on it from the initial day I tuned it. I think the tweeters are still too bright and need to be pulled back. Bass seems pretty darn good though with surprising amounts of clarity.

It's also unclear if this tweeter will even make it to production so I'm still trying to get a feel for that as well.

Bump, for a SWAG, as to the timeline and price.

Late June, if no other tested options arise, I was thinking of picking up something tried & true like the Seas CA18RNX and 27TAFNCG combo.

Of course my goal is good sound - in a Tacoma double cab (that I don't know much about acoustically) - at a price I can afford (around 200). Hence the bump.
