I'm considering offering a needle bearing puller tool to remove the needle bearing for replacement with the ECGS bearing. ECGS offers a tool for the job for $45 plus shipping. Would there be any interest in a similar tool made by me and offered for $35 shipped in the US?

Would like to see how much interest there is before I buy materials to make the first small batch. I'd probably offer the first 10 at a discount to get them out there and get some real-world feedback. I'd use the first prototype made to pull my own needle bearing to test proof of concept as well.

If there's a forum where this might get more attention please let me know…or mods feel free to move it as you see fit.

Does it offer any improvements over the ECGS tool?

No, not really much to improve upon. Clearly the interest is lacking. Likely due to the relatively steady supply of used tools in the for sale section.
