17x8.5 -10 with 1.25” wheel spacers pokes out slightly more and i mean slightly than 17x9 -38 with no wheel spacers. Main reason why i traded my ray10’s for f5’s to eliminate wheel spacers

Speaking of wheel coating. Ive used ceramic coating on 2 sets of my wheels with a silicone topper. In the videos below i coated the wheels with two layers of ceramic and let it cure for about a month (overkill) then i topped it with Carpro Reload. Applying the ceramic coat+reload changed the look of matte gunmetal to a satin gunmetal. imo satin looks so much god damn better than matte lol.

Ive ceramic coated my windows+windshield, headlights, window visors but i haven't had the time to apply it on paint because that will need a full show detail before applying ceramic.

Benefits; harder coating lasts tons longer 2+ years, protects against road grime, corrosive brake dust, its super hydrophobic, and last but not least it protects against the haters. Its easier to clean and maintain as well!

Cons; TIMELY PROCESS! i stated that did 2 coats. im super thorough with my work and ive coated everything, the face, inner barrel, the little cubbies behind the spokes, between the spokes, the center caps. this was not fun at all but it was worth it.

2 videos showing the beading action of the shower nozzle and just the hose. I found it satisfying and mesmerizing to watch the water bead lol. Enjoy!

This is the finished product in SATIN gunmetal

True. the "bowl" on the ray10s will carry the rocks and pebbles and will destroy the wheels in time. im not worried about that since i don't wheel like i used to. plus i have other wheels i can thrash xD

Is it wrong to look pretty like a princess at the mall??? haha

Def more than stock wheels for sure. Its slightly in the front and a bit in the rear. My main choice for the 17x9 with 3.5BS as I have TC Standard Race Lowers with a Bypass 2nd shock which requires 1.25 spacer along with a shock relocate in the rear which will also require a spacer. Running these will allow me to not run the spacer.

The standard is a solid choice for an aftermarket wheel. These new ones will have a more aggressive poke on them no doubt.

View from the front to give you an idea.

Vin told me it’s only 0.8” difference inside from the 17x8.5 -10 offset wheels. Will that give you enough?

Yep. Its 1.25" from a standard aftermarket wheel with 4.75 BS. The regular Ray10s are 4.3 BS so they are already somewhat halfway there. I hit up TC about it and they noted that if I ran a 3.5BS such as the F5's it would work.

Unfortunately, paypal is more secure than all the random merchant sites people have to use. Might want to reconsider.
