Yes, I cut enough to make it drive-able for now. Going in on Thursday to get it all properly cut so it won’t rub off road.

I put the 285/75 tire by my truck the other day, to see what it would look like and sometimes I wonder how it’s gonna fit lol

I already had the CMC done. The rest of the cutting is mostly plastic, parts of the bumper and a bit of medal on the picture I posted earlier.

Does anyone know what the closest touch up paint for Matte Dark Bronze is? Kinda scuffed my wheel a bit torqueing the lug nuts :(

Yeah I had CMC done as well so the rest is just plastics and hammering the pinch weld.

FYI, that small metal piece you’re referring to is the lower lip of the fender itself. Having done a bunch CMCs, I can tell you it becomes the biggest obstruction third to the cab mount and pinch weld. You can cut it off, but expect a hole of sorts since you’ll be removing the fender well liner and the lower most mounting bolt for the fender too (look underneath that area). One of my concerns for the small corner is that by removing the bolt, you gas in tons of clearance, but also there may be a compromise to the stability of the fender itself at speed. I’d suggest drilling a second small hole about 1.25” back from the original mounting screw and moving it there after you cut away. That way you keep the mounting location, but gain the room for the wider offset.

Why do these look like two different wheels? One pic the black is only on the outer lip and in another the black extends into the offset.. help me out am i seeing things?

Edit: i see it’s just a shadow: offset is casting a large shadow lol deeep!!

This was messing with my brain from earlier posts. I was like why would they have the black creep in so much. So happy it was shadows in all the pics.

Mark my words. If I ever get a 2nd gen I'm going 37x12.50 with 2" of lift. I tried on my 1st gen but there's no way.

It looks like you haven't done the pinch weld yet.. also, that small metal that you are referring, you can tuck it in by hammering it upward up until the last bolt that holds the fender flares.
