    Nah I just read up on his post about how to coat the wheels and to make sure I get all the little spaces. I’m gonna let it cure a couple days and do another coat.

    I’m in the process of painting my bolts too. I used duplicolor black chrome. You can use the cardboard cover to hold your bolts when you spray.

    nice! i wanna see the finished product when these bolts are on. i was thinking about going black but this chrome black might be better. it might take a while for paint to dry in our freezing temps tho!

    Yeah I’ll definitely post pics up once I’m done. You’re correct about this damn weather. It’s been slow going. I’ve done two coats over the past three days. Two more coats of color and then a two gloss coats.

    I did the Black not a big fan of the chrome bolts. This is the OG Ray10. Need to do it in the new ones still but gets an idea.

    you can probably throw them in the oven at low temp to cure them faster. it won't burn the cardboard, i think

    i dunno if its 100% a pro tip and not sure if it'll have a bad reaction for surface bonding lol. I've used vht caliper paint that could be cured in the oven not sure about this chrome paint tho. i guess it wouldn't hurt throwing it in the oven at 150f for a few minutes.
