Would have been kinda cool if we could have had it as a front page sticky for the duration of the GB.

Got mine today. :) Just finished the "install" and printed the mail in rebate form. Do we need to do this? I thought it was supposed to be an electronic rebate. Or was that for the group buy part only? Thanks.

You guys are awesome, we're way over 200.

So OP - any word on additional discounts? :D:D:D

We went WAY over the 150 mark... and I think we'd all like to see a little extra off to recoup shipping!

Mines mounted, haven't even driven it yet so I'm not very confident in the velcro holding to the piece I used. I feel like I should have ran a nut and bolt through it but didn't want to drill a hole in the bracket, not yet anyway until I know if I'll keep it there.

Just took the truck for a test drive with the gauge installed. First crank up after putting it in and my truck fired for just a second then shut off. WTF? It did crank right up after that with no problem but WTF? It's never done anything like this before. Does plugging this gauge in have something to do with it? And should I have anything to worry about?

I'd say it was just a coincidence. It's a reader, not like it has the ability to tune anything so it shouldn't be able to effect anything.

Did you have the battery disconnected previously?
That is a common situation when the battery gets
reconnected and you just crank it. You have to turn
the key to position 2 and let it calibrate first.

I would agree it is very unlikely this device caused
    that.
