    I think I read on the UG fourm that the LCD screen and internal elctronics could add to the heat of the unit and thus it could display a higher temp.

    Mine started falling out of the clip. :mad: Seems like it just fits too loosely. I'm about to go out and find a new way to mount it. May have to use double sided tape which I didn't want to have to do. Anyone else have problems with the clip?

    Sounds like your UG isn't snapped into all 4 points. I've found the clips to be fragile, requiring purchase of replacements, but my UG has snapped firmly into each one.

    ^I like that location. The wire looks much cleaner than mine does.

    I used the heavy duty "all-weather" velcro for mine as well. It works great. I stuck it to the UG mount itself so it gave me enough room to push the buttons without taking it off the mount.

    Not sure where you looked but, while I haven't found a way to call them, they have a "Common Support Questions" which includes two pre-sales email addresses: support@ultra-gauge.com and support2@ultra-gauge.com. (I'm not sure what the difference is, but I've received very prompt responses to all questions I've submitted.)
