Is it worth the $9 each? Then yes, you do have to jump thru their hoops...

You should have received the $15 back already. If that's enough for ya, leave it at that...

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
Yeah got the $15 each already. Just planned on waiting for the birthdays to come around. Well outside the 30 day window. PITA for me. So I have another $9 coming back but maybe not another $18. We'll see.

You could, in theory, just put them in "some" other vehicle to get the rebate...

So long as there's 3 unique vehicles for the 3 unique units, I don't thing UG really cares.

I only ordered one, so I'm not sure if this works or not. Hence, "in theory" :p

When did you send yours? And I did also send everything they asked for, rebate form, packing slip and safety/disclosure. Got the email back from them confirming receipt like a day or two later. Nothing since. I'm gonna contact them soon, got a lot going on right now though.
