I just picked up an 01 doublecab last weekend & badly want to lift it.
I was going to say I'd be interested until I saw this:

I think I'll hold out for something with more lift for the buck (Dakars, OME?).
I've got TOYTEC CO's ready to install in the front, just waiting for the right moment to pounce on a deal to lift the back. ;)

If you guys want this to happen, someone needs to take ownership, talk to Dan, and set a deadline.

Just talked to Dan in a PM, and he says a GB is cool. He is busy currently so details will come soon.

I am going to go ahead and take charge and organize this gb, so any PM's can go to me. I will make a new thread when the time comes.

I would say early to mid May that way it would give us more time to get enough people but not lose the guys who want it ASAP

If the prices are close to the same and with the free shipping I will be down for a set of the 5 packs.

Just copy/paste the list I started a couple posts above and add your name to the next slot. But there will probably be a new list in te new thread once Dan gets back to me with details

You're not going to get free shipping. That is a fantasy. So if you aren't willing to pay for shipping, you should not put your name on the list. Not trying to be harsh, just realistic.

If you call Dan and tell him your zip code, he can give you an estimated shipping cost so you can see what you are committing to. I suggest anyone wishing to join the group buy do this before putting their name on the list, only to bail in the 11th hour and screwing other members out of a good deal.

EDIT: Johnathan, you should start a new thread for this so you are the OP and can control info in Post #1. You can put links in this thread to your new thread...

also....Dan sets the dates not customers.

I would highly encourage reading up on GB's and how they are run. Maybe read the old ones and copy how they were done.

In the end make it as easy as possible for Dan....as he is the only reason you will be getting any deals.

Wouldn't hurt if a thread was created on the proper COC regarding GB's... god knows I'm not doing it so I can get attacked and have my thread deleted...&^#$#^*(((&%E$@@@
