Tell you what, I'll bring you a proper garage stool so I can stop looking at that sub box in every picture of your garage

Looks really good, man! I like that the A pillar terminates into the slider. Seems a little more preferable to the technique Matt used.

Thanks bud! Yeah having the cage mounted to the frame and the body didn't seem like the best idea since they move independently of one another. I cut out the corner of the firewall and ran the tube nice and tight to the body to alleviate any rubbing concerns with the tires. That being said I still am probably going to push the front out another 1".

Didn't Matt replace his rubber bushing and add a 1" body lift that is polyurethane? Body won't much very much then. But, I don't remember.

I like what you did, seems stronger... Less work too.

Yes, but if the cab doesn't move anymore due to hard mount plus cage... Than its fine! Better than rubber bushing and cage. Unless they aren't tied in...

My thoughts exactly, why work harder for a weaker option?

On another note, I ended up cutting more out of the firewall and getting both sides plated up this afternoon. Didn't get any finished pics, phone died.

Cage in place. Looks soooo much better now that it's painted. I couldn't be happier with how it came out; I was worried going into it honestly lol.

Dammit! I gotta work the next few weekends. I'm glad I was able to order my cage with all this OT pay, I'm going to get started on that as soon as it shows up.

Dammit dude, I want someone I know to go too. I'm going with a guy I met at The Devil's Playground a while back. He runs a red early 90's pickup on fj80's and 42" pitbulls
