I have a lot of other TG parts on the truck that I have no complaints with but I'm extremely disappointed with these as I don't have even have a full year of wheeling on them.

Trail Gear makes plenty of nice parts for a decent price, some parts aren't so great. That is the same for a lot of vendors, including 4xinno. That's Nuff said

I am glad the parts you have that work do.
I've had bad luck with all of their parts I purchased. The mounts, trans mount were bad.
I also had their cross member/ skid plate which has since been removed. Holes didn't line up properly for the TC/ trans which resulted in God awful vibrations. Tried drilling them to get the correct location... really bad vibes.
Luckily, my Inch Worm Lefty does not hang down far enough to be visible from a side... went back to the OEM cross member for now.

Try Marlin's trick with OEM mounts, it's a great mod.

    Take care.

The one possible issue a friend of mine brought up is that running a stiffer mount on the crawler/trans/tcase you are putting more stress on the stock rubber motor mounts as the driveline twists. Both mounts should be made of the same material, which kind of makes sense. Now I'm only running 33s, but i also bump shit in double low fairly often and i never had a problem. No idea how the motor mounts would like the same driving with bigger tires. I'm going to chain mine when i do my SAS just to be sure, since no one makes a poly motor mount for the 3.4.

I would not buy any trail gear precision machined parts, however their trunnion eliminator and six shooters are badass. I also would buy knuckle rebuild kits from them, no sense paying more for the same parts that the other companies sell.

I am still running stock motor mounts and beat on my shit pretty good. I checked them when diagnosing my drivetrain sag and both are still in good shape surprisingly. I did have issues with my 82 and ending up welding a 3 chain link limiting strap on the drivers side and never had another issue.

Edit: and fwiw I am also running the TG drivers drop x member with my pass drop drivetrain

I've got the TG crossmember, poly mount and crawler under my truck without any issues for about a year now. I've yet to be disappointed with a TG part. I think a big part is that my stuff has come from TG since the dark days of true crap, they have really stepped up their game.

Trunion eliminators are tits, makes working on the knuckle stupid easy. That being said, I think I am going with Brian's slotted arms and knuckles instead of six shooters... Which are tits as well

I was just pricing them out today! They are going to be my next purchase, that is unless i stumble upon a good deal on some used 6shooters, only problem is evreyone drills them out for heim's which suck around here.

What's your reasoning for wanting tre's over heims?

I was thinking the same thing, trust heims a lot more than tre's.

The muddy sandy wet humid weather we have tears them up. The ones on my shocks seized up a month after i installed them. The guys i know that have them saybthey are great as they are clanging around and they have to replace them evrey season. I know I lose cool kid internet points, but I can live with that lol.

Mine heims have been good since march. Marks heims been good for couple years so far. TG sucks dick, every single fucking thing they make, JUNK. Ok, I lied... my bombproof motor mounts have been holding up for many years. Every other TG part I had went to shit real fast.

You also have full hydro, kind of have to run heims for that.

The backing plate eliminator i have from them looks pretty good!:luvya:

And their sliders are pretty nice, DOM tubing, free shipping cant beat that.:luvya:

4xInnovations t case mount was on my doorstep today when I got home. Got it painted and put the truck back together already. No more sag! Going to try and get some shock mounts whipped up and might go wheeling on Sunday if I can get the new tow pig tomorrow..
