Boost gauge, wideband, and a pillar mount. Can't wait to start getting this stuff installed!

Injectors got here today! And I'm officially off work for the rest of the year so hopefully I can start making some real progress

@MadTaco461 these thick black isolators are what the injector seats in when inserted into the block, correct? So if my old injectors came out without them I need to remove the ones on the pink tops before inserting back into the block and use the existing one?

And on another note.... what a pain in the ASS to get the fuel rail out without removing the throttle body!!

Yes, you may want to use the ones that came with the new injectors though. Not a bad idea to replace the old ones if they never have been out before.

I honestly think I'd pull the throttle body lol. It was annoying enough to shimmy them out of the head for me with everything clear

Best way to get the old ones out? Yeah it sucked but I looked at taking the throttle body off and it looked like a lot of work so I figured I'd try with it in place.

I take off the throttle body when I change injectors. I just undo the 4 bolts and push the throttle body out of the way enough. Also I do new injector seals. I just run the Napa seals. My stock injectors have this rubber sleeve where the pink have them built into the injector. You want the length to be the same so when you bolt down the rail they set nice. I know what you are talking about. Changing injectors suck.

But that thick plastic cup bushing that presses into the head. I left that.

Got the pinks in today. I ended up pulling the throttle body cause that shit just wasn't happening with it in place haha

And a quick shot of where I am now

Still have to do exhaust, charge pipe, BOV, swap fuel pumps, wire gauges, cut drain line to length, and a few other odd and end things.

Is it stock for your radiator hose to go over the distributor like that?

No I shortened the bottom a little to get it closer to the block to make room for the elbow off the turbo inlet. The plug wires are very loosely zip tied to the harness that runs along the valve cover and are not touching the radiator hose

I might try that. When my turbo is on it snakes through it. It's a really long awkward hose.
