I like the lime green, I really don't see that very often. Sometimes on jeeps.

Any of them would really pop with the white so I can't really go wrong. I think I may go the non traditional route and reverse the colors of the beadlocks.

We all know Matt has a nice cage. And honestly, if anyone is to do an exo cage on any tacoma it should be as tight and curvy as his is due to our body lines! Need that tubing roller/bender though. But the best thing to ask is... do I REALLY need an exo cage? I made the same mistake and I hated it and cut the fucker off, well that and because it was fugly.

Oh yeah I have read through his build a couple times but now it hits a new note with me since I actually have a tacoma. And as far as NEEDING a exo I would rather be safe than sorry. I found myself saying no to bigger obstacles and harder lines in the 82 because I was afraid of flopping and destroying the cab. I want to do something with the tacoma to keep it in tact and not limit my options as to where I can and can't go. Basically I need some sort of rollover protection and an exo appeals to me since it will save body panels to an extent.

I'm just going to put some sort of cage in the bed to keep the cab from being completely crushed. If I do flop then so be it and I'll swap a double cab in and flat bed it.

My goal is to have some sort of protection so I don't have to do a cab swap. I don't really care about body damage (even though it's perfectly straight and clean now) but I want something that will keep the cab in useable condition in the event of a flop or rollover

Yeah, I've considered a interior roll cage, but I want a double cab any ways lol so if it happens then it happens

Better put a stinger on your truck or if you'll roll you might be about 15" shorter, or dead.

Jacob you should use Ford's Grabber Blue color for your accents

    Haha true dat

I do like that color but I don't think I would want to use it here. Always wanted a laguna seca blue e46 m3 though. It's pretty much the same color

Dropped my TG slip joint and rear driveshaft off at Oliver's today. Hopefully the rear is salvageable. It has been shortened and was welded back slightly out of phase and may be a little bowed which is fine for slow speed wheeling but I want to keep it streetable so and I can't drive over 30 without nasty vibes right now.

Nice build up so far. It think you should go with the lime green for an accent color for sure! Is there a link or build thread that you know of for the green and black taco up on the concrete road barriers? That's a sick looking rig

Not that I know of, that's a dude I talk to on a FB page. It's not actually a tacoma, it's a older model toyota pickup just with a tacoma body

Oh yeah there's lots of work in that thing to keep it that low. It's on 42's now.
