    Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what gear ratio I currently have on my truck. I'm looking to change my ring and pinion, but not sure what it is stock.

    2002 extra cab Prerunner, 4-cylinder, 2-wheel drive.

    Thanks!

    Angie.

    Thanks!

So, I figured out that I have a 4.56 according to that chart. Any recommendations on what I could do to it to make it faster?

Well, I don't need to go top-end faster...I just need it to pick up. So, I should go lower yes? Like 4.8...?

Your gonna get more pick-up but also lose top end. Not to metion it's gonna be harder on gas the lower you go.
