Gear Selector Console - Unused plug?

    Hope everyone is healthy and in good spirits! Lots of time to work on our trucks these days. I recently had to change the light bulb under my gear selector console that illuminates the automatic P-R-N-4D etc. My truck is a 2ndGen, 2005 Tacoma.
    While I had it opened up, I noticed an unused harness with an empty/unconnected white plug on the end. Anybody know what this is for? Photos attached.

    for the factory inverter. Your connector looks cracked too, good thing you got the base model.
