    Looks nice. I'll be using 3/8" as well.
    You should find a cover for that quick connect in the engine bay. Looks like all kinds of shit can enter it.

    I just drilled a hole. The back of the connector is threaded. On the underside i have a 3/8” female air line to threaded. Let me try to get a picture

    I wouldn't trust that plastic line coming out of the compressor. The air gets quite hot coming out. I have a braided line going to the tank from the compressor, then 3/8 plastic to the manifold etc.

    A bulkhead fitting is the proper way to do it.
