    Hello tacos,
Noobs to the tacoma world seeking advices from the pros. I have a double cab, v6, 3.4, 4wd. This thread is probably on here but I'm planning to swap my stock gears to 4.88s. Any advice where I can find some good quality gears? What's the price range? And how long does it take to re-gear per axle? Thank you for your time.

I thought this was an awesome question that more people should be thinking about.
I also have wondered about a reasonable place to get new ring and pinion gears for changing the rear end gear ratio to something I thought would be better for my type of driving and the terrain I live in.
There used to be a company called "Getz gears" that did it when I was racing, but I don't know if they are still in business or not.
However a simple search for whatever you want should bring up options.

    yEa.

OP i re geared my truck it cost about 4200 with lockers front and back.

Shop took 3 days to install both that was including lockers too. The rear is lot easier than the front.

Marlin Crawler is located near you, in Fresno, they specialize in Toyota gear boxes. Call them. They mostly sell parts (complete diffs), but they may do the work as well, if you can't. If you can remove your own differentials, that can save a lot of money.
