    3.73 to 4.1 isn't that much of a change, if you really want better pickup 4.56 would be the ticket.

    I agree, but when your cruising on the freeway you motor will be spinning quite a bit faster. If you are going to do it do it right and change the front as well. You also have to remember installation cost if you cannot set up gear yourself it is not a part you just swap out. Not uncommon to pay $400-500 per axle for install.

    Yeah, fuck that chart. That's for trucks with big v8's. Not Toyotas with a small displacement engine.
    Personal experience is better than a chart any day. ;)

    If I followed that chart, I wouldn't be getting 24 mpg highway on 35's.

    Do you know from experience if you'd get worse than 24 mpg with 4.88s instead of 5.29?

    are manual and auto the same size he said its for the non e locker
