    For anyone with ARB front and rear lockers. Concerning the switches, are they all in series? I know the rear switch must be on before the front switch will work. But does the compressor switch have to be on before the others will work?

    I am trying to get everything wired up before I go get the lockers. I am wiring everything on my workbench using a 12v power supply. I am using switches from OTRATTW and I have everything wired up using LED'S as solenoids. The solenoids come on as they are supposed to, but the compressor switch has no effect at all. I have an ARB compressor, but that's in the truck and I am just using the locker wiring to do the test. You think it won't work without the compressor? I thought since the switches are in series, nothing would work without the compressor switch. Any ideas?

    I FINALLY got my gears and lockeds installed. Got them in the GB this past March/April.

    I did not use ARB harness or an ABB compressor. I do electrical work for a living so this is fun stuff for me, although routing wires properly is a job. I built a panel with old school toggle switches for the compressor, the lockers, and aditional switches for aux lights. I mounted this panel in the cubby hole at the bottom center of the dash.

    After reading about the not so robust IFS I have wired my front locker switch so that it cannot be enabled until the rear locker is activated.

    I use a Viair compressor to activate the lockers, it has a 3 gallon tank and is big enough to fill tires in a reasonable time. I have an adjustable regulator set to limit the ARB solenoids to 70 PSI because the compressor/tank/tire refill is set to shut off at 115 PSI and come on at 90 PSI. It is all home-brew, and it took two sweeps to eliminate the leaks. I am NOT a plumber...

    Hey, thanks but I found the problem. I couldn't figure out why the compressor switch wouldn't work, everything was wired properly, I checked it 10 times. So I went back and checked the switches, and the switch body for the compressor was different from the locker switches. The ground pins were in different spots. I put in the right switch and everything works.

    Did you get your ARB's installed at ECGS? If so is there anything close by to them like a mall or restaurants? I guess it's gonna be a long wait. Got a quote from them today, just need to set up an appointment.

    Yes I had them do it. IIRC there is a mall nearby (walking distance). I had a buddy pick me up and hung out with him for a few hours then spent the rest of the time at ECGS.

    Had to regear my rear after I blew the ring and pinion at Uwharie. Had it towed to ECGS for the repair. Now I'm saving for the front diff and locker. Probably going to do the install myself to save a few bucks.

    Going back through this thread now but I figured I would go ahead and ask.

    Has anlyone used CO2 for their locker? I've got a few 20oz paintball CO2 tanks laying around and I was thinking about using them for a dedicated system for my air locker (when I get the cash together to order it.) Has anyone tried it?
