Do you wheel hard enough to use them? The rear comes in handy pretty often. But the front is really only necessary for some serious crawling.

Also as far as labor if you remove the 3rds yourself you can save some cash

My truck normally sees off-road environments during the hunting seasons, when we go camping, and occasionally when I have time off work to explore the Los Padres and Angeles National Forest. Therefore I would say I don't do any serious crawling, I imagine the rear locker would be sufficient. However I am looking to get more involved.

I’d say some good aggressive tires and a rear locker will be plenty for you.
Arb being top of the line , buy once cry once for sure.
Gears aren’t really necessary unless you plan on pushing 35s

I recently installed a 6 inch lift and suspension kit to accommodate my 305/70R18 Mickey Thompson ATZP3's. I went with those since this truck is also my daily driver, therefore a more hybrid tire seemed logical.

According to other forums and the calculator re-gearing to 456 -488 is sufficient with my new wheels to bring back to factory ratios.

Thank you for including the links. I will give them a look. I'm presently overseas right now and won't be back for a few months, but I am looking forward to getting back out on the trail and just in time for the Mule Deer opener :D
