    You know that story….

Vendor promises Moon and Stars upon buying, but then when there is a problem……takes 50+ pts of blood pressure or a DNA sample to get something done

Well, this was not the case!!!
need to recognize the excellent customer service in this experience

    got GearWrench set YEARS ago
    8 pieces, metric
    Nothing fancy(not angled or stubby)
As expected with use, 10mm unit started clicking much more quietly than others in the set.
Now, sporadically, locks up, and a simple smack on the garage floor remedies the situation….until the next time.

    tried online warranty
But the listed part# would not take (probably bc so old/no 8 piece sets are sold anymore)
Told to call 800# during business hours

    freakin 10min call
    GearWrench sending me new 10mm
    That’s It!!

‘That’s easier that old craftsman lifetime warranty!!’ I told the customer service rep

    have give kudos
    Doesn’t happen much these days
    Cheers

I use my gear wrench stuff all day working on cars. Their warranty is easy peazy and its good quality stuff and its affordable. I work as a mechanic and I still pick gear wrench over snap-on.

I had a 1/2" 90 tooth ratchet lock up after 2 months of use. Submitted online warranty request, never heard back from them. Called them, gave them the support ticket they said they would call me back. Never did:( .

I was bummed and swore them off. 5 months later I receive 3 ratchets. Two of the exact same one, and one comfort grip. They all arrived separately.

It was during Black Friday and Christmas. I hope I just got them at a crappy time, or fell into a glitch in the system. I hope it's the latter, I really like their tools!

Nice, I was just about to pick up a set at Ace and was wondering if they were any good. I saw that Project Farm liked them and now this story. SOLD!

Now mine are over 10yrs old
    But
The ratchet wrenches are so much slimmer that a regular wrench
Twice, neighbors came over for help
And GearWrench tool fit bc of the thin design when a regular wrench was too thick
I.E. both times there was a bitch bolt, my tool was returned after 15mins
