FYI if you use the same turn buckled as GT you’ll need to cut the radius down closer to the mounting hole. Gonna look sweet with the added hoops

 

Agreed, remove the jaw from one of the turnbuckles and test fit it, remember that depending on how tight you thread the turnbuckle the jaw will pivot on the tab a few degrees. If it binds the threaded section may bend/crack/break.

 

Thanks guys. Like I said I don't have the turn buckles yet. Rumor has it that my secret Santa is being delivered this week, I think, and I put the turnbuckles on my wish list. I'll see if they show up. If not, I'll get them ordered so I can mock them up and finalize the brackets. Would hate to have to make changes once they're on the truck..

Also, I just ordered the turnbuckles in hopes they arrive for the weekend so that I can finish up the brackets. Still no word on when I can get together with the fabricator to get this done. Just a lot of hurry up and wait.

Can anyone explain how they assemble with the cable? Took one apart and I'm lost. Might be easier once I get the new cable

Excited to get this done and installed. My version 1's were really bulky and clunky. These are going to be really clean and EAF!

Fluid filmed mine two weeks ago. $24 for two cans. Funny thing is a local 4x4 shop is hosting a fluid film party this weekend for $120 per rig which is insane..

Remember, measure once and cut twice. And the more side the better helps steady the hand..
