Winter prep:



Came home, cleaned all the over spray off the windows and decided to do the insides as well. Cleaned the glass between the cab and the topper too. That was really dirty. Also cleaned the inside of the rear window on the shell.

This thing will be needing a wash and wax, too. Probably next weekend or maybe a day during the week. Gonna gunk the engine bay and toss some new wiper blades at it and that's pretty much it for the year.

Why the change in catch can? Did I miss that?
Also, kinda in a tough spot with the oil filter being right under it.

 

I was planning on rerouting the old one anyways and this just simplified the process (time always seems to be a factor). It was also bulky and I wanted to clean it up a little bit. Luckily, it's not touching the filter and it's just a reminder to not forget every oil change. I'm happy with it.

 

As temps dipped down into the upper 30's, the TPMS light came on.

This is your reminder to drain the summer air from your tires and put winter air in. Oh and check your blinker fluid.

Spare on the swingout was 10 PSI lower than the 4 on the ground.

Plan today:

- Wash the truck
- Gunk the engine bay
- New wiper blades

 

Done.

- Wash and wax (pulled into the garage)
- Gunk'd the engine bay
- new wiper blades

Confirmed the PSI issue is resolved.

 

I probably haven't "washed DP" in a year.....

 

I have alloy/JDM wheels now. I gotta give her a wash at least 3-4 times a year now.

All LHR (left-hand retrieve) and all Lew's reels..oh my. Love that the Mach 2 matches this frog. I tossed on some 17lb flourocarbon with some 12lb monofilament backing on the tournament pro; just like the speed stick. They're ready for a weekend of fishing.

I just sold my hybrid CVT. I bought a harshell.....

 

Looking at a GFC possibly

 

if you can swing it they are nice. Id concerned with fitting in my garage and the ease of taking it on and off my truck but might be worth it lol.

 

That's my biggest concern at the moment, too. I haven't looked into it much. I know they try to make them where they fit into residential garages still. Definitely a convenient thing.

The gf is definitely intrigued..
